BACK FROM CAMP!!!!!!!

Whee! Camp was fun! GRACES camp is the slackest camp in NY!!!!

Well, after 3 years of dying-in-the-sun camp, GRACES was PARADISE!!!!

I shall now give a very detailed recount of wat happened. (accompanied by loads of nice pics, of course)

DAY 1

Set off early in the morning!

Arrived at Downtown East at about 9 something. We trooped to D'marquee, dumped our bag and sat down at the tables to rest!

Started to take pics!!

I found out that Shirley and Hsiufan have this natural flair for unglam photos:

After everyone arrived, the teachers announced that there's MORNING TEA FOR US!!!!!

I was so surprised!

The teacher (forgot who) was saying: "Some of you probably didn't have breakfast... very hungry now... so we have tea for you."

I was thinking: WAH. Since when they so nice to us

Usually during LSC they'll just starve us so when it comes to lunch or dinner, we are too hungry to not eat the food

Anyway, thats the tea:

After tea was make-up session!

Teach us how to apply make-up. Like foundation and blusher and mascara.

I don't like mascara! So hard! Make my eyes feel weird.

LUNCH!!!

Lunch was SOOOOOOOO NICE!!

Especially compared to OBS last year!

It was buffet, and there were ppl serving us drinks!!!! WHEE!!!!

Then it was deportment class!

Teach us how to sit, stand, do a stupid (graceful) half-turn

Trying to walk and do a half-turn gracefully. The funniest part was watching all the books falling off the heads!!!!

After that, we checked in to our rooms to shower and get ready for the malay dinner!

414 wore our very cool James Bond-ish class tee with tie/sunglasses

Had performers performing for us. Had to host two malay guys at my table. One kept quiet for the whole night and the other was doing all the talking.

It was quite fun!

Went back to rooms after dinner. Curfew was at 11. But noone cared. haha! We were playing cards and watching TV in our room!

Roll call was at 11. When Ms Tan and Mrs Chang came knocking on our door, Sipei was so eager to get to the door she stepped on one of the pull-out beds and went on a little skateboarding trip! But due to her high c.g. she fell on her butt with a loud THUMP.

Mingyi had named the little incident 'Sipei's fall' and it sends her into hysterical laughter everytime she remembers it.

And that ends Day 1!

DAY 2:

Had games in the morning!

Stupid games like folding airplanes. HAHA

We won overall 2nd for class games!!!! WHEEE!!!!!!

Then afternoon was deportment course for hosting skill and dining etiquette.

Was seriously quite boring... I don't think anyone wants to hear about it.

Highlight of the day is FORMAL DINNER!!!!

Sat at the same table as Kingkong, Shirley, Sipei, Peixia, Jiachin(is tat how u spell it?), Lynette, someone, someone and Ms Tan!

The food:

Main course. I ate the least of the main course! HAHA

Ms Tan say they serve the same chicken every year!!!

She suspects that the people keep the chicken for a year then serve to us

At 12 am, we got special permission and sneaked into shirley's room to give her a birthday surprise!!!

I realised my class is really good at hiding.

The room looked really empty!

And shilly shtupid shirley didn't suspect a thing!

The whole class left after that cause it was way past curfew time and it was hard keeping our volume down. Even Shirley's roommates left, so me, kingkong n hsiufan stayed to pei shirley.

An we ended up taking unglam photos of the two unglam queens and one very glam sai!
