Went to 作好人 last saturday!!
Volunteered my service for this club rainbow street sales which was organised by SOMEONE's juniors :)
It was exactly the same as flag day except we weren't in uniform. So don't need to pretend we are respected members of society!
Spent most of the morning walking the whole length of Orchard Road. My tin was only half full by noon. But nevermind. Coz the Someone's tin was only half of half full.
I realised doing flag day after noon is even sadder than doing in the morning though there are more people in the afternoon. It's literally 人山人海!! But then the chances of getting dao-ed is like 99.99%. It's utterly depressing. There was this woman who VROOM swerved away from me like I would eat her.
Hello? Do I look like I eat people??!!
Anyway, I went home at around 1.30 coz my legs were so sore they couldn't stand it (pun not intended)
And I left the Someone to become her ad board. Details on the tagboard. (Hey! It rhymes!)
Btw, anyone know what to do with avocados?
My dad bought some but we dunno how to eat it. So we dumped it into the blender with milk and sugar and lemon.
It came out as a thick green goo. Like something Shrek will eat for dinner.
Hmmm.... I think it will make a very nice snack with yuhui's dog poo rolls. HAHA!!
But it tasted ok. It was quite nice actually.
Next time shall ask Pam what to do.
I hope she doesn't give me a very complicated recipe on how to bake avocado cheese cake or something.
