I SHALL POST!!!!!
Haha.
Anyway, I went to yuhui's house with pam yesterday. To BAKE!! :):):)
It's my first time baking you know!! ANd I didn't burn down the kitchen! So cool right???
Oh nevermind.
First we had to search high and low for all the pots and pans we needed cos pohyu-the-pro doesn't even know her way around her own kitchen -__-
When we finally got all our equipments we started measuring out all the flour and baking powder and sugar and eggs and blah and blah and blah. And we found out that yuhui's family eats organic lake salt. So healthy!
Anyway, we were baking some kind of brownie mixed with cheesecake. I was in charge of melting the chocolate and butter, pam was mixing the eggs and sugar and yuhui was mixing the cheesecake batter.
Melting the chocolate was so fun!!! the chocolate goo smelt sooooo nice!! Pam and I had to take turns to stir the choc and mix the eggs + sugar cos beating the eggs made our arms terribly suan1 after a few minutes!!
Then pam was telling yuhui to add an egg in the cheese. So yuhui took an egg and looked at the recipe and said "But it says the egg must be at room temperature!". And the next second there came a CRACK and yuhui was standing there holding a broken egg shell and an extremely runny egg.
Conclusion: yuhui is damn bao4 li4!!!!! I read from somewhere that its very hard to smash an egg in your fist. Oh man. Yuhui has supernatural powers!
So after that we had to leave the poor unfortunate egg (or whatever that's left of it) on a plate to warm it until room temperature.
Nothing unfortunate happened again until it was time to pipe the chocolate and cheese batter into the small muffin tins. Piping is SCARY. First you have to pour the chocolate and cheese batter into seperate plastic bags. And then cut a small corner of the bag and pour the batter into the tins.
Yuhui was pouring the choc and me the cheese. Yuhui's chocolate was more ting1 hua4 and went into the tins safely but the moment pam cut the cheese bag, the cheese came squirting out like a fountain and went everywhere except where it's supposed to go.
Bleh.
So pam had to take over and she gave me the job of swirling the chocolate and the cheese together with a chopstick instead. It was much more fun than pouring the cheese cos I can make pretty swirly things in the chocolate and cheese and show off my artistic talents. Wahahaha.
And that was when disaster struck.
I was innocently and happily swirling one of the brownies when out of the corners of my eyes, I saw a bowl of flour sitting innocently on the table. So I asked innocently, "So what's the flour for?"
And THEN we realised not-so-innocently that WE FORGOT TO PUT THE FLOUR IN!!!!!!!!!
So instead of the promised brownie and cheesecake mix, we were making a cheesecake and molten chocolate mix.
How wonderful.
Well luckily there was still one third of the chocolate batter left so we added the flour to that batter. But not-so-luckily we ran out of cheese so the last batch of brownies had to go without cheese. Haiz...
Finally, the brownies (or molten chocolate) were ready to go into the oven!!!
While they were in the oven, the thingies started umm... rising into a dome shape. And ten pam-the-sick had to say they look like boobs. So for the rest of the baking session we ended up calling our dear brownies boobs, except we said it in chinese, so it's xiong1. And you could hear alot of "Hey check on the xiongs" and "Have they fa1 yu4 finish yet?" or "Are the xiongs ready?"
Ok, it looks so sick. I cant believe we actually said that.
Then after that we decided to go blogging!
And ARGH it was such an embarrassing experience!!!! I cant believe we were out-witted by our juniors!!!
