Ok, i vowed to update my blog before school reopen. Otherwise my blog will never live to see the glorious 2008. Sai to the rescue!!! *Does superman pose*
Ok.... lame... -_____-
Went to Malaysia from 21 to 25 dec!! Wahahaha. Luckily it stopped raining so the place didnt flood. Went to KL only. But it was my first time going there in my dad's car! (my sis actually went there twice more than me. Hmph!)
Ok... cant seem to upload any pics.... Boooo.....
Nvm. Skip.
27th was farewell dinner with juniors! Haha. We ate 600 over dollars buffet and got free performances from the juniors. Wahahaha. I got such cute juniors. And and and.... the sec 4s won the treasure hunt!!! HAHAHAH!!! Tuan2 jie2 jiu4 shi4 li4 liang4!
Rewind a bit. In the morning went to pam's house to make watermelon granita (???? How to spell???) It's just watermelon flavoured shaven ice, ignore the cheem cheem name. We made it for the 203 gathering. Pam wrote about all the pain and torture we went through to make the thingy. So if you want to know how we toiled day and night to get the gra-thingy done, go visit pam's blog.
Let me tell you how stupid pam can get. She actually washed her electronic weighing scale! Like, gave it nice warm bath.
I bet she even used soap.
So now it's spoiled and she had to get a new one. =P
Then 29th was 203 gathering. it was a barbecue! In the afternoon! I was melting k!
And I cant believe we actually got the fire started. Haha.
Though we almost burnt off pur fingers to get it done.
Yesterday I made a strawberry cheese cake! Wheee!
At first we had only a bit of sugar left and the sponge cake base needed 50g of sugar. We had no idea how much 50g is and since it was only a wee bit left I just added the whole thing in. Then later I realised that 50g was only less than 1/4 cup and the amount I added in must have been at least 1/2 a cup!!!
Not to mention I forgot the cheese cake layer also needed sugar -____-
So I had to shoo my dad out to get sugar (Iwasn't being mean. He was going for a haircut anyway)
The sponge cake layer also need 2 tbsp melted butter. So I asked my mom to melt some butter then I can scoop 2 tbsp.
So after awhile my mom brought out the butter and put it on the table. I was just recovering from the shock over the terrible amount of sugar i added. Thus I totally forgot about the tbsps and just dumped the whole lot in the batter.
My mom was still asking me slowly "Hooow.....muuucchh.....buuuttteeer.....dooo....yooouuu.....neeed?"
And so I was sent in shock the second time that day.
But the sponge cake turned out ok you know. Well, besides being too sweet and too buttery and extremely extremely fat and will cause you diabetes.
The whole cake turned out to be BEAUTIFUL. I took photos of it but cant seem to upload... =(
I will upload all my truckloads of photos when I find out what the problem is....
Meanwhile... let me moan over the end of the hols
Booohooohooohoo

Was really quite busy the last few days!! Haha. I went out everyday lor!!
Well, the last post was about friday, when we baked all the 'xiongs'. Then sat I went out with Lynette and Hsiufan to watch a movie!
There wasn't alot of movies for us to choose from cos Lynette and Hsiufan had watched a few already. So in the end we settled on 'The Kingdom' even though Hsiufan said that according to the movie reviews, the movie sucked.
The movie started at 4.15 and we had an hour to kill, so we killed it by playing pool at the arcade next to the cinema.
Problem is, we were all damn lan4 at pool! So all we did was the anyhow poke the white ball with the stick and wish with all our might that somehow, a ball would fall into the holes. But I think the white ball must have fell into the hole about a million times too.
And we discovered Lynette's supernatural powers!
There was this ball about 2cm from the hole and it was Lynette's turn to hit but there were a group of super-pro looking guys playing at the table next to us so Lynette was under alot of pressure and she kept screaming "I cannot one! I cannot one!"
And guess what?
The ball fell into the hole all by itself!!!!
HAHA! Must be the sound waves produced by Lynette was so powerful it pushed the ball in.
Then when we were returning the sticks and stuff, I accidentally elbowed one super-pro looking guys butt!
And then he turned around with this wierd look on his face.
Oh man. So embarrasing.
After that we went to watch the movie and it was not really that sucky. But it was the first NC16 movie I watched!! HAHA
Ok so that was sat. On sun I went to help out back stage for the yi4 gu4 ren2 concert.
The concert got alot of pros playing solo lor!!! AHHHH..... so impressed.
Anyway it was the first time the sec 4s were doing backstage work and we were seriously quite scared. Haha.
All went well, except I konked a guzheng on the ceiling andthe tuner fell out. But luckily that happened backstage after the item. Otherwise I would just have fainted on the spot.
Oh and we screwed up the flowers presentation (or whatever u call it) part. It was in such a mess I didn't know what I was doing, so Im afraid I cant elaborate. Just imagine the worst and you wont be far off.
Wahhhh...... so long post.
Ok shall do a summary on mon.
Went cycling with Hsiufan, Lynette, Bao and Yuhsuan (er..... dunno how to spell). Bao got lost and had to wander around for about half an hour and got 4 blisters on each foot. Well.... who ask her wear slippers.
And I tell you, CYCLING KILLS YOUR BUTT!!!!!!!
Like half an hour into the cycling everyone of us were ow-ing and ouch-ing way. And Bao didn't know how to ride a bike so Hsiufan had to tow her along in that kind of two seaters. (Not the kind with the baby seat k. it the kind that look like 2 bikes fused together)
Then we went to the white sands arcade for awhile, played some games, found the place small, so we decided to go Lynette's house.
Played playstation at Lynette's house. I've never evn touched a play station in my life so er.... obviously I kept dying. I got a deprived childhood *sobs*
We ate beehoon at Lynette's house and watched TV and talked with Lynette's parents until 9++ before going home. Lynette's parents are damn nice. HAHA. And they have a dog called cloud and it look like one. It was very cute!! Not as cute as me though. Hahaha.

I SHALL POST!!!!!
Haha.
Anyway, I went to yuhui's house with pam yesterday. To BAKE!! :):):)
It's my first time baking you know!! ANd I didn't burn down the kitchen! So cool right???
Oh nevermind.
First we had to search high and low for all the pots and pans we needed cos pohyu-the-pro doesn't even know her way around her own kitchen -__-
When we finally got all our equipments we started measuring out all the flour and baking powder and sugar and eggs and blah and blah and blah. And we found out that yuhui's family eats organic lake salt. So healthy!
Anyway, we were baking some kind of brownie mixed with cheesecake. I was in charge of melting the chocolate and butter, pam was mixing the eggs and sugar and yuhui was mixing the cheesecake batter.
Melting the chocolate was so fun!!! the chocolate goo smelt sooooo nice!! Pam and I had to take turns to stir the choc and mix the eggs + sugar cos beating the eggs made our arms terribly suan1 after a few minutes!!
Then pam was telling yuhui to add an egg in the cheese. So yuhui took an egg and looked at the recipe and said "But it says the egg must be at room temperature!". And the next second there came a CRACK and yuhui was standing there holding a broken egg shell and an extremely runny egg.
Conclusion: yuhui is damn bao4 li4!!!!! I read from somewhere that its very hard to smash an egg in your fist. Oh man. Yuhui has supernatural powers!
So after that we had to leave the poor unfortunate egg (or whatever that's left of it) on a plate to warm it until room temperature.
Nothing unfortunate happened again until it was time to pipe the chocolate and cheese batter into the small muffin tins. Piping is SCARY. First you have to pour the chocolate and cheese batter into seperate plastic bags. And then cut a small corner of the bag and pour the batter into the tins.
Yuhui was pouring the choc and me the cheese. Yuhui's chocolate was more ting1 hua4 and went into the tins safely but the moment pam cut the cheese bag, the cheese came squirting out like a fountain and went everywhere except where it's supposed to go.
Bleh.
So pam had to take over and she gave me the job of swirling the chocolate and the cheese together with a chopstick instead. It was much more fun than pouring the cheese cos I can make pretty swirly things in the chocolate and cheese and show off my artistic talents. Wahahaha.
And that was when disaster struck.
I was innocently and happily swirling one of the brownies when out of the corners of my eyes, I saw a bowl of flour sitting innocently on the table. So I asked innocently, "So what's the flour for?"
And THEN we realised not-so-innocently that WE FORGOT TO PUT THE FLOUR IN!!!!!!!!!
So instead of the promised brownie and cheesecake mix, we were making a cheesecake and molten chocolate mix.
How wonderful.
Well luckily there was still one third of the chocolate batter left so we added the flour to that batter. But not-so-luckily we ran out of cheese so the last batch of brownies had to go without cheese. Haiz...
Finally, the brownies (or molten chocolate) were ready to go into the oven!!!
While they were in the oven, the thingies started umm... rising into a dome shape. And ten pam-the-sick had to say they look like boobs. So for the rest of the baking session we ended up calling our dear brownies boobs, except we said it in chinese, so it's xiong1. And you could hear alot of "Hey check on the xiongs" and "Have they fa1 yu4 finish yet?" or "Are the xiongs ready?"
Ok, it looks so sick. I cant believe we actually said that.
Then after that we decided to go blogging!
And ARGH it was such an embarrassing experience!!!! I cant believe we were out-witted by our juniors!!!
