HAPPY BELATED VALENTINES AND TOTAL DEFENSE DAY!!!

Haha. Got alot of chocolate for V day. Today I ate so many I think I got heart-burn. RARRHH. Can you feel the heat radiating from my burning heart?? <3

Anyway, something embarrasing happened yesterday!!! (Yeah I know this is not a very surprising piece of news) Yesterday, my class CT rep gave all the girls one super long-stalked rose each. The stalk was SERIOUSLY VERY LONG!!!! So it was impossible to stuff into my bag.

Then after school I had to go for dental so I boarded 174 n sat down. After awhile this ah mah sat down beside me.

At this point in time I had no idea how to place that stalky rose. It's dying sadly due to lack of water and the bud is drooping madly.

So, I decided to place it horizontally so the bud can rest on my bag.

After I an1 dun4 hao3 my rose, I noticed the ah mah next to me was squirming alot in her seat. So I was thinking "Hmmmm..... I think she got an itch on her butt or something." So i turned to look.

And I realized that the stalk of the rose was poking into her (not very flat) tummy!!!!!

Omg omg omg.

I was so shocked I quickly jerked the rose away and the poor thing got slammed onto the bus wall. And it looked even more wilted after that.

Anyway the ah mah got off quickly a few stops after that. I think she's too traumatized by my dying rose.

And the rose withered and died before I could reach home. Poor thing

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR (aka eat until you puke days)!!!!!

Have been eating so much these few days! I feel like a big fat turkey stuffed constantly to the brim. Wednesday was tuan yuan fan. Then yesterday we had guests coming over so each meal was like man3 han4 quan2 xi2, eat until you feel like you wont ever want to even think about food (but you end up stuffing yourself silly anyway at the very next meal)

Since all the guests have come and gone, I predict I'll be eating leftovers for the rest of the chinese new year holidays. It's the same every year la, before chinese new year our fridge will be so packed you cant even squeeze another chicken feather in. And after chinese new the fridge will still be packed but by then the chicken would most likely be already fried/boiled/bbq-ed/roasted/microwaved/pan-fried/stir-fried and goodness-knows-what-fired

I conclude:
New year goodies + new year food = new layers of fats

So disgusting. And one important thing I learnt during this festive season is that the human's brilliant stomach is extremely elastic and can stretch to 10 times its original size. Eeeeww.... I rather have a plastic stomach then.

CIP at Sentosa today!!!!

It's some surf and sweat thingy organized by NTU and 07S05 + 08S05 decided to volunteer our services. MUAHAHAHA.
The actual cip is on sunday but we all met up on saturday at 6.30 at jurong point to have dinner. Jurong point is seriously super crowded la!!!! Like everyone chi1 bao3 fan4 then pretend to be ban4-ing nian2 huo4. Almost squeezed us to death. But we managed to find seats at KFC!!! Haha. (Which is also where we ate our lunch during The Quest on our 4th day of orientation!)

Unglam photo of Yiying (right) eating. Yenpeng-the-super-chomper has already finished her whole meal.

OK. Fine. Unglam photo of me eating. *Digs a hole and hides head*

This is Eunice the laughing queen trying to look constipated (and being quite successful)

We passionately declare our love for 08S05!
Then after dinner we went arcade. Got quite sian after a while so we went toilet. When we came back we passed this shop selling cute/wierd hairbands so we started taking dumb photos with the hairbands.

Do I look like a rabbit?? *looks around hopefully*

Yenpeng looks very rabbitty!

A confused looking princess

Anyway at 9+ we set off for NTU. took a double-decker bus and irritated everyone on the bus with all our noise pollution. Tried to tou1 pai1 people. This is the end result:

Guess whose mouth is this!
Arrived at NTU's dark and scary grand stand at around 10. There were still a few mad people jogging lor. Valerie and Ziquan seem extremely interested in this half-naked man jogging. But I don't dare to take a photo of him. Haha

Ziquan blocking everyone else I wanted to include in the photo

This is where everyone slept! The sports hall. But 08S05 people are all very high and played poker until like 2+am. There were even people doing math homework *faints with horror*

We were supposed to wake up at 3.45am so I only got like 1 hr of sleep. The next morning everyone looked extra stone. Like statues.

After that we had to change into this super disgusting, super bao4 lu4 singlet the organizers made us wear. Due to some dunno what error, there were not enough size S so I had to take a M. AND IT WAS SUPER GIGANTIC!!! The arm hole was like below my chest can.

Huiming emo-ing over the singlet (it doesn't look too bad here though)

Got transported over to Sentosa at 5am on this bus that smelt like leather and kept playing ulu old songs with R21 MVs. When we reached Sentosa it was still super dark so I couldn't take any photos.

The event started at around 7.30am. Our class got split up and Valerie and I were suppposed to be at the registration booth. Our job was to write the participant's tag number on their left arms. With permanent markers. HAHAHA. And the IC said it must be BIG and bold. So we spent the whole of the morning vandalizing people's arms. =P
Then after lunch the thing got sian-er and sian-er. So to make things more exciting, the heavens decided to give us a nice little tian1 zai1 to make us happier.
You can't imagine how STRONG the wind was. Just look at the photo below

I thought there was going to be a hurricane lor.
The wind was so strong all the rain got blown into our tent. So all we could do was to make a sleeping bag wall and hide behind it.
The wind and rain continued for like 1 hour plus. It was freezing cold even after the rain subsided. It felt like winter lah!! Maybe a few degrees lower will start snowing already. Hahaha.
Anyway, the event was cancelled and all the cip helpers (which is us) got ferried back by lorries.
LORRIES!! HAHA!! My first time taking a lorry. I was so cold and wet and pathetic I felt like some nan4 min2 being evacuated to safer grounds. =D
So much for worrying I'll suffer from sunburn lah. I almost froze to death instead.
