I went to donate blood today!!!!
Wheee!!!! HAHAHA! So COOL right!
At first two of my classmates huiming n jasmine were supposed to donate with me. But then huiming's veins are too soft (??? according to the nurse) n then jasmine doesn't have enough iron in her blood.
So in the end I was the only one who managed to get the tube stuck up my arm. Haha. =P
I didn't see how thick the needle was but apparently it was damn thick cos my arm was bandaged for like 4 hours plus n when I took out the bandage the hole was still super obvious. Like about as thick as a pencil lead. (The mechanical one, not the wooden type!)
But then, when I had almost filled up one whole packet of blood, I started feeling giddy and faint and all the stars and spots and whatever started appearing in front of my eyes. so i had to tell the nurse Im dying badly. and when I spoke I sounded far away.... Quite scary...
Then I had to lie down with the lower part of the stretcher-looking chair raised so my legs are higher than my head to aid blood flow or something -_______-
I think I looked stupid.
I think i was supposed to lie there for like 10 mins but after 3 mins plus a nurse came oveer n asked me if im ok so i decided to be macho n say im fine n i got up ( the giddiness did subside by a bit)
So i went to the refreshment area to eat n drink the stuff they prepared but after awhile the giddiness came back and i thought i'd faint. N huiming said i gave her a scare cos my face was so pale i looked like a ghost -__________-
Imagine sai the ghost...
So the nurse decided i was better off lying down in that wierd position n wheeled the stretcher-like chair next to the refreshment area n made me lie down on it. And then she wheeled me all around the place, in full view of every single soul, and it was so EMBARRASING!! Cos nobody else looked like they are being wheeled out of some major operation or something.
So i had to lie in a remote and ulu corner (thank goodness it remote n ulu though) and look as if im waiting for my coffin to arrive. Luckily there were very few donors waiting for their turn or I think i'll scare them all away. Haha!
Haiz... nevermind!!! At least I managed to donate one packet of blood! N the packet's not small u know! I hope it helps all those patients who need the blood. They will be so honoured to have my blood running in their veins! Woots!!

Just checked my block test results on ISP.

I shall set my goals now for promos!!!
Let's see.....
A for Maths!!
C for physics (this seems impossible)
C for chem (just work a little harder!)
C for econs (must maintain the miracle that took place during blocks)
A for chinese (if i dun i'll jump off the building)
D for GP (i'll just be thankful if i dun slip into the E range)
But then, can u believe it, i got 42/100 for physics n im still like better than 53% of the cohort.

I should take bao's advice n blog more right. Hmmm.... but really very busy last few days lah. Sleep every other day at around midnight trying to finish some impossible econs project/chem project/GP homework (tears hair!!!!)
Oh yeah. Hahaha. I just remembered something.
Last friday (a 风和日丽 de day) I was happily showering before going to school. N unfortunately my shower foam was all used up liao, so I ended up using soap instead.
Well you know how all the soap companies insist that your skin will become as smooth as silk if you use their soap. But the only thing that ever becomes smooth as silk is the soap.
N it becomes as slippery as a fish too. Cos just when I was happily holding the soap in my hands, it decided to show off hoe smooth n slippery it was by popping out of my hand with a small "phut!" and sailed through the air in a symmetrical parabolic trajectory (ok maybe not symmetrical n not parabolic cos of air resistance) and landed with soft "ploot!" into the toilet bowl.
So much for showing off.
N I was left standing there in utter shock, not knowing what to do next.
I couldn't possibly fish the soap out and continue my happy bathing
But i didnt dare to flush it down either cos I was scared it will clog the toilet.
So in the end I just left it there and a few hours later my dad flushed it down without even noticing it. Bleh.
Ok so that was friday morning. Yup. Den an hour later bao sent me a sms asking me to go for the NJ guitar concert, which was like, that very night, cos she has a free ticket (mingyi abandoned bao. hahaha)
So I went! N took pics with a ffew 414 peeps
I forgot who suggested this pose, where we are supposed to look like we're kissing the air, but I think the NJ girl behind finds it amusing -____-
This has got nothing to do with the guitar concert la! It was taken a few weeks ago when I went for sabbaticals. Archery!! Haha!! It was fun! N the pic shows the badly mutilated bulls eyes
These are the bows we used! They look small here, but they are actually very long!! Like as long as my guzheng! Haha. Only strong ppl like me can pick it up =D
