I'm back!!! Heeheee!
Ok actually I was back on sat but was too tired on sun and had cca yesterday so didnt post.
Phuket is really really beautiful. It's full of really high mountains (so unlike that bukit timah hill behind my house) and white sandy beachy with crystal clear water (so unlike pasir ris beach, or in fact any beach in s'pore)
Ok then! Let's start with DAY 1:
Woke up early to go to the airport (budget terminal!)
After 2 hrs by plane and another hr by taxi we finally arrived at our resort. N our resort is NICE!!

And our room is nice too! N spacious with a large bathroom!!
We went to the beach that day. Our resort has a little coach that brings guests there and it only takes about 5 mins. WE lived at Kata Beach btw. There are 2 other beaches Karon n Patong which are bigger n noisier.
But oh... the sun was so strong you can roast a chicken there. Or a turkey. In fact, you can probably cook a whole five course christmas dinner there.
OK OK random...
Alright, that concludes the 1st day.
DAY 2:

It was a 50min ride to the 1st island. My dad, sis n I sat in front, n there was only 1 word to describe the ride: BUMPY.
The waves were really big and the boat was going so fast it kept flying off the tips of the waves. Oh, since Im a physics student I shld say flying off the crest and landing in the trough. -_____-
And so we had a 50mins roller coaster ride to the 1st island Phi Phi Ley I think it was called.
And we went snorkeling! It was my first time and I kept sucking in water instead of oxygen. Not to mention if I breathe through my mouth for too long I'll think Im choking n start to gag. But I still got a pretty good view of the fishes and corals. And the fishes were so colourful!! HAHA!
The island was very small. It's only slightly bigger than the soccer field with the running track around it. And it was full of these colourful umbrellas which ppl can rent for 150 baht (it's 23 baht to $1)

Being stupid at the airport

The ancient looking toilet door....

AHH!! I LOVE THE BEACH!!
The water is so clear you can see your own feet even if you wade far far into the sea. And the sand was so white and smooth. And each resort has its own piece of the beach where they provide large beach umbrellas and deck chairs.
But oh... the sun was so strong you can roast a chicken there. Or a turkey. In fact, you can probably cook a whole five course christmas dinner there.
And I found out a random fact. The water in Phuket is salty.
Really. The swimming pool water is salty, the tap water is salty and the sea water is, yup, salty (x1000000^100000).
OK OK random...
Alright, that concludes the 1st day.
DAY 2:
Went on a tour to Phi Phi island!! Plus a million of other island which I dunno the names of.
Got picked up from our hotel at 8.30am n went to Chalong Bay where we boarded one of these boats:
It was a 50min ride to the 1st island. My dad, sis n I sat in front, n there was only 1 word to describe the ride: BUMPY.

After lunch and several more bumpy rides we arrived at our last island. And we went snorkeling again!

The island was very small. It's only slightly bigger than the soccer field with the running track around it. And it was full of these colourful umbrellas which ppl can rent for 150 baht (it's 23 baht to $1)
Pretty enough for a postcard!
We picked seashells here! It was full of shell of all colours n shapes n sizes. Oh.... how I wish I can bring the whole each back with me!!!
Hahaha.... So that was our 2nd day.
Hmmm.... Im going to eat lunch. Will post tmr. Or maybe the day after tmr. Hahaha. Anw, I think ppl will fall asleep if I continue
Yup... to be continued.......

My blog is getting non-existent again! Haha! It's been 2 months since I last posted. Wow. Great evidence to show how dilligent I am. =D=D=D
Anw... nothing interesting happened recently. It's the hols (yeah I bet nobody knew that) and the only things I've done so far is to go for cca, stone, and study for SAT.
Oh yeah! I took the SAT last sat -______- I cant really remember anything abt it though, except I was frozen stiff in that acjc badminton hall and that we had to stand around for 1+ hrs to wait for all 500+++ students to finish registering. N that was only the number of students taking SAT in the badminton hall!! There are still loads of other ppl in the MPH n LTs. Goodness, I didn't know everyone loved the SAT so much.
I met Angela n Weiying at the SAT place! Haha! So qiao. N then we had to endure that 4.5hrs of SAT torture. Seriously, we started the paper at 9am (1whole hour late) and only ended at 1.30pm. With only three 5mins break. So towards the end my brain just turned into this useless mound of frozen slush. Bleh...
Went shopping with Liyi yesterday. Well... we went cos Liyi needs a maroon shirt for the NAC concert on sat. So it's not really shopping. It's more like on-a-mission-to-hunt-for-a-stupid-maroon-shirt.
And so we hunted, till we wanted to murder those people who chose the colour maroon. I mean, PLEASE, who in their right minds will decide on a maroon shirt. There is definitely no demand for it since I dont see any supply. We only found bright red or purple shirts but no maroon. N the only shirt we thought was alright (it was a bit darker than bright red) cost... guess what? $239
We shopped around from 12 to 3 plus and still went home empty handed (but very sore footed) and came to the conclusion: WE HATE SHOPPING!!!!
